Recent Projects

PAMLA 2010 Honolulu (http://www.pamla.org/2010)
Annual meeting of regional academic association, the Pacific Ancient and Modern Language Association. Built site using Drupal CMS so that conference organizers could easily update the pages. Implemented online system (via Drupal modules) for accepting paper proposals and generating data for conference program. I also maintain the Association’s main site at www.pamla.org and built their 2009 conference site. Migrated to a new webhost in 2008 and converted the static HTML site to Drupal CMS. Also conduct their annual elections using Qualtrics survey tool, administer listservs using Mailman, and post announcements as requested by PAMLA Executive Board.

UCLA Graduate Student Resource Center (http://gsrc.ucla.edu)
Offers referrals, workshops, and counseling for graduate and professional students at UCLA. Clients had an existing site based on Dreamweaver templates, but they wanted to clean up the code and modernize the appearance. I designed new templates with standards-compliant HTML and CSS, a fresh color scheme, and banner images to add visual interest. Created coordinating templates for the UCLA Graduate Writing Center and UCLA Graduate Student Orientation. Added Google Analytics for monitoring statistics, reorganized the file naming system to optimize for search engines, and migrated the sites to a new server and domain.

Brannon and McKinney Dentistry (http://www.brannonandmckinney.com)
Private dental practice in Poway, California. Built site using Drupal CMS for easy updating and maintenance. Designed custom Drupal theme with banner featuring alternating images of dentists, smiling models, and dental equipment. Added Google Analytics and optimized pages/content for search engines.
